Dancers must be at least 10 years old by July 7 to enroll in Ripple Intermediate Variety.
In the Intermediate Variety Class, dancers ages 10-17 will explore a new style each week and discover what they love! Classes rotate between ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop.
This is the perfect opportunity for beginners to decide which styles they want to train in during the school year. YOU will be confident in your choice of school-year classes when you know which styles most appeal to your dancer.
Dress Code | Every student receives the standard class uniform annually as part of your Super Simple Monthly Fees! Alternate leotard or t-shirt styles may be available at an additional cost based on the class level. Only Pure Dance Works logo wear is allowed in class.
Shoes are not included but can be fitted and purchased on-site at Reggie’s Shoppe.
Because styles rotate weekly, the dress code is slightly more relaxed than school-year classes. Here's how to dress for Summer Variety Classes:
| Class | Recommended | Acceptable |
| Ballet | Ballet Shoes | Jazz shoes or socks |
| Tap | Tap Shoes | Ballet shoes, tap shoes, or socks |
| Jazz | Jazz Shoes | Ballet shoes or socks |
| Hip Hop | Clean Sneakers | Ballet shoes, jazz shoes, or socks |
You may ask to look through our boxes of used ballet, tap, and jazz shoes BEFORE the class date if you want to try and find a pair to borrow for a specific class.
Pro Tip: Socks are always OK for Summer Variety Classes!
