Open to students who have completed any style Ripple 3 or higher during the '25-'26 Season

Best for dancers ready to expand their skills, train in an energized group setting, and experience the pride of learning and performing new material.

A 4-week summer series focused on jazz technique, acro training, and learning a production-style jazz dance.

Technique classes are grouped by experience level, while all dancers train together in acro and choreography, creating a motivating studio environment with dancers of varied backgrounds and strengths.

Dancers may choose to perform at the Taste of the Arts Festival on August 22, or participate in the workshop without performing.

→ Everyone will learn the choreography; those who opt not to perform at Taste of the Arts will simply be placed where their presence will not be missed.

This class is hosted by the Pure Performance Company and open to anyone who has completed Ripple 3 or above in any style. No commitment to join the is Pure Performance Company is required.

Dress Code  

• Apparel: Any Pure Dance Works top and bottom

• Shoes: Skin tone jazz shoes

• Hair: Completely secured off the face and neck; pin back bangs and side wisps.

• Please No: Jewelry, accessories, other clothing, or undergarments that show. Only skin-toned dance undergarments may be worn with a leotard and must be covered entirely.

Class Details

• Eligibility | Students must have completed a class in Ripple 3 or above during the '25-'26 Season, including:

  • Continuing Pure Performance Company members

  • Dancers considering joining the Pure Performance Company during the school year.

    Participants are not obligated to continue in the PPC in the fall.

• Schedule | Meets for four Thursdays from 11:00 am - 1:15 pm from July 9-30, 2026

  • Attendance | Participants who opt in to the Taste Of the Arts performances are expected to attend all four weeks of the workshop to ensure personal and group readiness for the performance at Taste Of The Arts. If necessary, dancers may miss ONE week and still perform, but this should be the exception and not the rule.

  • July 16 | Class will meet at the adjusted time of 11:30 - 1:45 pm due to Dancer Development Workshop.
