Watch your child twirl into an enchanting world of make-believe and blossom into a confident dancer this summer in classes featuring Peter Pan.
Dancers will adore stories, games, activity sheets, and, of course, DANCING all centered around Peter Pan!
Sparkle Integrative Dance is a special needs dance class for students ages 3 - 6 with any physical or cognitive disability. We welcome students who are on the autism spectrum, have Down Syndrome, use an assistive device, or have any other special need.
They will thrive in Sparkle Integrative Ballet, an enchanting world of make-believe, where she'll learn early-childhood ballet skills, master cooperating with others, and gain self-confidence.
Benefits | You’ll love that each class intentionally nurtures each student's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Physically, Integrative Dance improves balance, agility, and gross motor development.
Students develop social skills such as respect, teamwork, and encouragement. They also develop classroom skills such as following directions, taking turns, and giving your best effort.
This is an emotionally safe place to explore self-expression.
Teachers nurture cognitive development by utilizing patterns, challenging dancers to recall a sequence of steps, and more. In addition, weekly coloring sheets that display something the students learned in class that week further facilitate the child's understanding and retention of class content.
Dress Code | There is no specific dress code for Integrative Dance, though a Pure Dance Works class uniform is included each year with your enrollment. Any easy-to-move-in, comfortable, and modest clothing is acceptable for Integrative Dance students.
Shoes: Ballet Shoes (optional depending on student's needs)
Hair: Secured off of the face and neck (optional depending on student's needs)
Please No: Jewelry or fashion accessories may be worn in class for safety.
