Sparkle 4 Ballet

Pure Dance Works: 2 (map and directions)
Thursday, 5:15 PM - 6:15 PM
Start Date: 08/14/25
Duration: 40 Weeks
End Date: 06/04/26

Dancers must be 4 years old by October 1 to enroll in Sparkle 4 Ballet.

Your dancer’s eyes will sparkle every time they waltz into their own enchanting dance class, where they delight in princess pliés, fairy piqués, and flamingo passés.

Your child will thrive in Sparkle 4 Ballet, where they will outsmart the sharks, learn manners fit for royalty, and blast off into outer space with rocket sautés. Dancers master pre-ballet skills and develop self-confidence in a loving and respectful environment.

Little dancers are never pushed beyond safe physical limits. Sparkle 4 Ballet students learn how to speak and listen respectfully in a group, be a first-time listener, & take turns.

Teachers trained and certified in the proven Leap 'N Learn method intentionally nurture the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of a typical four-year-old in every class using professionally designed, developmental- and education-based lesson plans.

Emotional awareness is developed through specific activities designed to help children identify and express various emotions in a safe, stress-free environment.

For many, this may be their first independent activity apart from a parent. Gentle teachers are quite effective at helping a shy child choose to walk into the classroom confidently over time.

Exciting class activities build school readiness skills.

Predicting and remembering patterns is helpful for dance and pre-math skills.

Learning basic French ballet terms as they are paired with familiar English terms (eg: Flamingo Passé) increases language development.

Colorful props such as ribbon rings and rhythm instruments keep dancers' attention.

Just as importantly, props help to ingrain movement concepts that dancers will use for the rest of their dancing days.

For example, a popular activity uses ribbon rings to allow students to fly with big, slow, smooth butterfly wings or little, fast, sharp hummingbird wings. Four-year-olds have just demonstrated size, speed, and energy in one combination!

Weekly coloring sheets that reflect part of the day’s lesson plan, such as “Plié In Parallel & Plié In First.”

These are a perfect conversation starter that gives parents the opportunity to further facilitate their child's understanding and retention of class content.
