Composed and ready for more, Ripple 2 Senior Ballet students are serenely honing beginning-level ballet skills and being introduced to intermediate-level skills. 

They have established basic muscle memory and have reached the age when they are physically and cognitively ready to begin training in classical ballet and perform with clean timing and technique.

To enroll in Ripple 2 Senior Ballet, students:

• Have completed Ripple 2 Junior Ballet or the equivalent
• Are at least 9 years old on October 1 of the school year in which class begins

To begin preparing for the ultimate expression of ballet, dancing en pointe, Ripple 2 Senior Ballet students are strongly encouraged to take two Ripple 2 Senior ballet classes per week.

Two classes weekly more than double the rate of progress. Two ballet classes per week develop muscle memory, alignment, and stability at an exponential rate. Students who take multiple ballet classes weekly are typically ready for pointe work sooner than those who do not. 


Ripple 2 Senior Ballet is the 3rd year of the five-level Ripple Program. 

At the conclusion of Ripple 2 Senior Ballet, students progress to Ripple 3 Ballet, where they will train as intermediate students.
