Impact Team Dress Code

 

SHORT VERSION: PDW Top, Modest Bottoms, Nothing Baggy, Dance Shoes, Hair Secured (Bun For Ballet), Small earrings and necklaces OK

 

DETAILED VERSION:

  • Tops must contain the Pure Dance Works (leotard or shirt)
     
  • Bottoms can be:
    • Any modest but fitted athletic or dancewear bottoms
    • Pure Dance Works leggings or shorts
    • Tights: Leotards require tights or leggings; skirts optional | Wear tights underneath if shorts are shorter than fingertip length
       
  • Dance warmups are okay if they don't hamper movement or hide your lines.
    • YES: Ballet sweaters, fitted jackets, leg warmers, dance skirts, etc. 
    • NO: Baggy clothing; students need to see your lines for your demonstrations to be useful. (No trashbag pants or sweatpants.)
       
  • Absolutely no undergarments that show (bras or underwear).
     
  • All apparel must be in good repair (no rips, etc).
     
  • Also required
    • Dance shoes
    • Hair completely secured off of face and neck; no whispies around the face. Bun for ballet.
    • No jewelry & accessories (except small earrings & necklaces)

 

When you attend your own classes, you must be in complete student dress code with none of the extras allowed when assisting or student teaching.
